The Night Garden

The idea was to try to draw a night blooming garden.  I experimented with this picture by putting down a black watercolor base first & then painting down the colors over it. My son (who does all the scanning & popping for me - the popping only to try to get it near to the original) says that the original looks nicer than the screen version, but I think that it's come up very nicely.
