I originally sketched this figure as a possible drawing for my side of a recent collaboration, but I didn't think that it would fit as well as the drawing that I ended up using.
My eldest son Seth took a great interest in this drawing when I showed him the sketch for it. He thought that it was reasonable that the Siren was rooted to the ground, because the roots would have to go deep for her to find water. He knew more about the legends of Sirens than I thought that he would know.
My middle son says that he doesn't like it & that unless it only took an hour (which it didn't), it represents time ill spent.
My youngest son says that he likes the "hot woman body".
Funny - the responses that you can get from different people about an ordinary drawing!!

Thanks!! I was going to use the idea for the collaboration with you, but I went with the other one instead. The slant of this figure didn't look as good as the other when put beside your cactus.
