Mother and Child

I didn't plan this drawing. My middle son was talking to me while I painted a background for what I thought would be a drawing of a Chinese dragon, but I lost track of what I was painting as I listened to his energetic discussion of Stoicism. The background was certainly not suitable for a Chinese dragon, but this creature turned up instead, with a baby creature on her tail.
