I've put this under the category "Macabre & Horror" because this really is horror - true horror.
Pain and Blood.
The pain is not so bad that the person has to lie down, but it's still horrible.
There are no details because the person is unable to perceive details due to the pain clouding their vision. This painting is more about the feeling of pain than a portrayal of the intricacy of what they look like when they're suffering.
